New parential contributions in 2014

by Gregor Prajs on 14/10/2013

Dear parents,

At its meeting of 27/09/2013, the CAS (Social Actions Committee) has adopted a new scale of parental contributions. You will find it here-attached for your information.

The new rates will come into force on 1/1/2014. Until then, the current rates remain applicable. You will be contacted in due time by our services concerning the implementation provisions of the new scale.

Best regards,

The CPE Administration

Dear Parents,

Please find below some useful information concerning the organisation of the Halloween Holidays in the Interinstitutional Children Centre from 28 to 31 October 2013. To enrol your child, please use your E-KidReg account available at

On the first page, click on “holidays” in the menu on the left of the screen. Choose the “Halloween” period and then the mode of attendance needed for each child. As a reminder the following modes of attendance are possible:

  • all day presence with meal: within the usual opening hours 8.00 a.m. – 7 p.m. (6.30 p.m. on Fridays)
  • half-day presence in the mornings with meal: Garderie and Study and Recreation centre: 8.00 a.m. – 1.30 p.m.
  • half-day presence in the afternoons without meal: Garderie and Study and Recreation centre: 1.30 p.m. – 7.00 p.m. (6.30 p.m. on Fridays)

The list of your enrolments can be printed out but is also always available for you later in E-KidReg.

Please note that the enrolment and any changes are only possible within the enrolment period from the 30 September to the 11 October 2013. The CPE cannot accept any additional requests for enrolments after the deadline.

Children enrolled:

  •  in the Garderie Kirchberg will be welcomed in the CPE 1 building.
  • in the Study and Recreation Centre Kirchberg will be welcomed in the CPE 3 building.
  • in the Garderie or in the Study and Recreation Centre Bertrange/Mamer will be welcomed in the CPE 5 building. Please note that there are no shuttle busses during the school holidays.
  • in mode “dépannage vacances” according to their attributed site.

Only applicable for CPE 5 Bertrange / Mamer: We would like to ask parents with children in mode “dépannage vacances” and with children in the secondary section, who are enrolled either for all-day or morning with lunch during the Halloween Holidays, to fill in the enclosed form “Invoicing of meals” and to send it back to Eurest. This registration is obligatory. Parents whose primary children attend the CPE Bertrange/Mamer during the school year do not need to fill in the form as they are already registered with Eurest for the short school holidays.

As for every holiday period, only children enrolled with E-KidReg can be admitted to the CPE.

The children will be divided into groups in line with the planning displayed in the entrance area of each building. Please check to which group (teacher and room) your child has been assigned to. In the Garderie, the groups are created on the basis of the usual afternoon organisation. Children stay in the same room and with the same group in the morning and in the afternoon. Non-scolarised children will therefore probably not be with their usual educator of the morning but will be together with group mates from the afternoon group. Upon arrival at the CPE, each child should be handed over personally to the appropriate member of staff, except secondary school children who are allowed to arrive and leave alone.

In order to organise the holidays as well as possible, we would ask you to bring your child to the CPE by 9.30 a.m. at the latest and to respect the opening hours of 8.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. (6.30 p.m. on Fridays). For more information on the rules, etc. we invite you to consult the CPE website:

Summer holidays

March 8, 2013

Given the very limited attendance of the CPE from the 15th of July till the 30th of August, the children from both sites (CPE Kirchberg and CPE Bertrange/Mamer) will be grouped together on our new Bertrange/Mamer site for that period. This way, all the CPE children will be able to benefit from the new installations of the Bertrange/Mamer site as well as from the varied infrastructures, such as the sport halls, the swimming pools and the multisport field of the campus.
